Excellent Morning Routine Superfoods for Skin and Health

· ·

These are superfoods I like to start my morning off with. They’re packed with nutrients, and great for skin, and overall health. There are 3 products I take in the morning (usually) and sometimes later on in the day if my routine is a bit behind.

I’ll list them below and tell you why I love taking these 3 particular healthy superfoods every morning. I’ll also share the amazing benefits of each powder.

Morning Routine Superfoods;

  • HealthForce Superfood Vitamineral Green
  • Ancient Nutrition Collagen Peptides, Unflavored
  • Organic Matcha Powder, Culinary Grade

Why I take these Superfoods in the Morning

Green superfood — I know I don’t eat enough vegetables on a daily basis, so consuming a superfood powder made with green vegetables is vital to me.

Collagen peptides — although collagen peptides are great for my hair, nails, joints, and gut, I mainly use them for skin benefits.

Matcha powder — matcha green tea powder gives me an added boost of morning energy along with extra skin-loving and other health-promoting nutrients.

HealthForce SuperFoods Vitamineral Green

There are many green superfoods available, but I use HealthForce Vitamineral Green because of its superior quality. It’s very potent and made with some of the most nutrient-dense superfoods on earth. It’s made with a combination of land and sea vegetables.

Vegetables like nettle and horsetail have high levels of kynurenic acid, which is anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, and helps to relieve pain. Horsetail assists with healthy skin, hair, and nails, and both are good for joints.

That’s just to name a few. Vitamineral Green has many other land and ocean green and even non-green vegetables, like amla berry and ginger root, with a host of powerful nutrients to also help with areas such as digestion, blood pressure, healthy immune function, and reduce the risk of certain types of cancer.

Another ingredient included worth mentioning is iodine, which is essential for healthy thyroid and particularly important if you’re a raw vegan.

Vitamineral Green is certified organic and lab tested for GMOs and pesticides.

Ancient Nutrition Collagen Peptides

I recently switched over from Ancient Nutrition Multi-Collagen Protein to Ancient Nutrition Collagen Peptides. Although, I still believe Multi-Collagen Protein is an excellent supplement there is one reason I switch over to collagen peptides.

Collagen has the same set of amino acids and nutrients as collagen peptides. The difference is the nutrients in collagen peptides are generally easier for the stomach to digest. What makes peptides collagen easier to digest is the process called hydrolysis. Hydrolysis is the process of breaking down collagen into shorter chains of protein called peptides. Collagen peptides are also absorbed into the bloodstream faster than regular collagen.

Ancient Nutrition

Since collagen peptides are more readily digestible and bioavailable compared to collagen protein it’s possible to see quicker results. Results may be different depending on each person, but it’s possible to experience reduction in fine lines, crows feet, knee stiffness, and joint pain in as little as one day. Ancient Nutrition says if used consistently there may be even more improvements in just a few weeks. These results have been tested and are based on clinical studies.

Organic Matcha Powder

I originally started using matcha powder as an alternative to drinking coffee. It gives me more balanced energy without jitters and other caffeine-related side effects. Research shows matcha green tea is one of the highest sources of catechins and also has more catechins than regular green tea. Catechins are antioxidants that are critical for health and may lower the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
